Yoga Retreat Venue in Janda Baik, Malaysia

Yoga retreats in Malaysia, held in the rainforest.

The Practice

Hold your retreat where the air slows down.

SereneNest is held quietly for yoga teachers, breathwork facilitators, sound healers and wellness organisers — gatherings of twenty-four to thirty-one guests. Asanas by the infinity pool at sunrise, savasana under the canopy, slow meals together at the long table.

Mats, props and a yoga pavilion are part of the villa. Sound bowls, chefs, transport and custom programming can be arranged on request.

The Venue

A private yoga retreat venue near Kuala Lumpur.

SereneNest sits in Janda Baik, Bukit Tinggi — a rainforest valley within easy reach of Kuala Lumpur. Organisers hold the whole villa privately, so a group arrives to cool air, river-valley quiet and no other guests sharing the space.

Close enough that guests can drive up after work on a Friday; far enough that the city stops following them in.

Who it's for

Designed for yoga teachers & retreat organisers.

Yoga teachers

Multi-day programmes with a pavilion, mats and props already in place, so you travel light and teach from sunrise.

Wellness facilitators

Breathwork, meditation and sound healing facilitators use the pavilion, deck and poolside as quiet holding spaces.

Corporate & group organisers

The place

Why Janda Baik?

Janda Baik is a rainforest village in Bukit Tinggi, Pahang — cooler than the lowlands, green in every direction, and quiet enough that a group can hear the river and the birds between sessions.

For organisers it's a rare combination: genuine nature for the practice, and a short drive from Kuala Lumpur for the guests.
